At ArtBakery we are proud to announce that two of our former residents have been distinguished at the Dakar Biennial of Contemporary Art, this year:
Bill Kouelany, Brazzaville, Congo
Guy Wouete, Douala, Cameroon
The prizes come as a result of the artists’ sole talents, efforts and merits.
ArtBakery however derives enormous pleasure in having been involved in the development of their careers.
We hereby congratulate the two artists and encourage them to go further on the way to excellence.
It is worth recalling that in December 2004, another former resident, received in Bamako, the 1st UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of Arts and Culture: Achilleka.
